Erik Seman

Patrol Division
Title: Sergeant

Sergeant Erik Seman joined the Irvington Police Department in January of 2002 and attended the Westchester County police academy.   Erik is also a graduate of the Irvington High School, and has coached many sports in the Irvington schools for over 20 years.  Sergeant Seman was assigned to the patrol division from 2002-2013.  In 2014 he was re-assigned to the Detective division. He was promoted to Detective in July 2015 and remained in the Detective Division until 2017 when he was promoted to his current rank of Sergeant.  Sergeant Seman is a member of Greenburgh Special Weapons and Tactics Team, General topics instructor, Firearms instructor, Taser instructor, Defensive tactics instructor, DARE instructor, Field Training Officer, Armorer, as well as a member of the Marine unit.  Sergeant Seman is also a past President and Vice-President of the Irvington PBA.
