As spring moves into summer, there has been a rise in the number of incidents involving coyotes and domestic animals such as dogs. Residents are reminded to contact the Irvington Police Department using 911 or the non-emergency number (914-591-8080) immediately if you observe a coyote exhibiting aggressive or dangerous behavior. Be sure to ask for the Irvington Police Department if you call 911 using your cell phone.
