First Half Taxes Due by Monday, July 1, 2013.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village tax roll and warrant for the 2013/14 fiscal year has been delivered to the Village Clerk-Treasurer for the collection of taxes levied on such roll. The first half installment of such taxes will be collected at the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer in Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Irvington, NY 10533 from June 1, 2013 to July 1, 2013 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. excepting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. All amounts paid after July 1, 2013 will be subject to interest as set forth in New York State Real Property Tax Law Section 1432. The second half installment of such taxes will be collected at the same location between December 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013 in the same manner.
Please note that first installment payments postmarked Tuesday, July 2, 2013 and beyond, or made in person on July 2 and beyond at Village Hall will be assessed a penalty. Bear in mind only a bona fide U.S.P.S. postmark evidences timeliness.
