On Sunday, April 21, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino presented Earth Day awards to several municipalities, organizations and individuals for their various environmental contributions and efforts. Pleasantville, Hastings, Ardsley, Bronxville, Irvington, North Castle and Rye were honored for having the highest pounds per person per day of recycling in 2012.
