[ARCHIVED] Election Day - Tuesday, November 6, 2012

Election Day polling places are preparing to be ready by Tuesday. Please read the following for important information concerning the General Election and contingent plans.

Westchester County Board of Elections is making contingent plans in the event there is no power to any of the 4 voting locations within the Village. This determination will be made as late as Monday. They have assured us that signage will advise voters of any alternate location.

The polling locations in question at the time of this writing are Dows Lane School and Immaculate Conception Church. Con Edison has made these sites a priority in restoring electricity.

Important Notes:

Irvington Proposition #1: Voters should be aware that there is a proposition on the ballot to change date of Village elections from March to Novemeber to coincide with the General Election. Yes or No vote required.

Voting District #81: This voting district has merged with District #11. Dows Lane School remains the designated polling place.

Voting District #60: Poling place has changed to Dows Lane School.

An updated Town of Greenburgh voting district map is available at the website.

On Election Day polls are open from 6AM to 9 PM.
