Dear Resident:
Irvington Schools Superintendent Dr. Kris Harrison, in consultation with Village officials, made the decision to cancel school on Wednesday, October 31st due to lack of power at Dows Lane School and the High School/Middle School Campus. There is a concern that not all affected families will receive notification due to lack of telephone and Internet connectivity so please tell a neighbor.
Additionally, due to safety concerns, we have made the decision to postpone trick or treating and the Fire Department Halloween Block Party for tomorrow. We will make a decision for when we will reschedule both trick or treating and the block party tomorrow and send out notifications.
