If you are interested in serving as a volunteer on an Affordable Housing Committee, please consider attending this informational session to learn more about how such a committee can function.
One of the goals of the Mayor and Trustees is to actively promote the creation of affordable housing within the Village of Irvington and the region, especially through community-based grassroots efforts. To that end, the Mayor and Trustees are encouraging volunteers from our community who are interested in working actively to promote the creation of affordable housing to set up an Affordable Housing Committee.
To help interested volunteers learn more about how an Affordable Housing Committee functions, a special informational meeting will be held on October 4, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in Irvington Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Irvington. Rose Noonan from the Housing Action Council and Tiffany Zezula from the Pace University Land Use Law Center will be present to discuss the inner workings of an Affordable Housing Committee. If you are interested in learning more about being involved with an Affordable Housing Committee, please consider attending this informational meeting.
