[ARCHIVED] State of Emergency Rescinded

Mayor Brian Smith has declared state of emergency for the Village of Irvington that will go into effect 8 PM tonight (Saturday) due to Hurricane Irene.

Mayor Brian Smith has rescinded the State of Emergency for the Village of Irvington effective 6 p.m. today (Sunday 8/28).

Even though the State of Emergency has been rescinded, residents are urged to travel only if necessary. We expect normal government operations Monday morning. Any changes will be posted on the Village web site at www.irvingtonny.gov.
