2011-12 SCHOOL BUDGET FORUM
As everyone is aware, these are challenging economic times and the school district and school board is striving to develop a budget that will continue to provide an outstanding educational experience for all students while balancing the needs of all taxpayers.
The Irvington Board of Education understands that it often difficult for parents and community members to attend evening or weekend meetings therefore, a morning budget forum has been scheduled for Monday, March 28, 2011 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. in the Irvington Public Library, 12 S. Astor Street.
This will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments and feedback to the Board and Administration regarding the 2011-12 budget.
Dates for other budget forums are:
Saturday, March 12th - 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Monday, March 21st - 7:30-9:00 p.m.

The Board of Education will adopt the 2011-12 School Budget at its April 12, 2011 Public Meeting. The community will vote on the school budget and member election on May 17, 2011.
