A candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2010 by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety and the Irvington Police Department in support of Irvington Police Officer Luigi Osso.
A reminder to all agencies and individuals that a candlelight vigil will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2010 by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety and the Irvington Police Department in support of Irvington Police Officer Luigi Osso who was critically injured in the line of duty by a fleeing felon on April 21, 2010. Officer Osso is still listed in critical condition at the Westchester County Medical Center's intensive care unit. Officer Osso has been an Irvington Officer for approximately twenty months and previously served with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
The candlelight vigil will be held in the vicinity of the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, which is located at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. The vigil will begin at 8:30 p.m. but all attendees are requested to arrive at 7:45 p.m. or prior. The vigil should last one hour or less.
