The Village of Irvington has four used surplus vehicles that it will sell to the highest bidder.
Recycling Truck:
2002 Western Star Recycling Truck with Heil formula body. 40/60 split packer - 25 yard capacity. Engine model 12L Detroit Diesel Series 60. In good condition / 30,000 miles. Minimum Bid: $50,000
Dump Truck:
1994 – Chevy 6 wheel automatic & plow. Minimum bid $1,000
Small Dump Truck:
1990 – GMC Small Dump Truck. 4 wheel drive with plow. Minimum Bid: $500.00
SUV:
1997 – Ford Expedition. Automatic, air-conditioning, 4 wheel drive, power windows & doors. Minimum Bid $1200
All vehicles will be sold "as is" with a minimum bid as indicated. It may be inspected Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Department of Public Works complex on South Astor Street in Irvington, New York.

Please submit separate bids for each vehicle.
Each bid must be in a separate sealed envelope marked with the name of the vehicle and delivered to the Village Clerk's office at 85 Main Street, Irvington, New York 10533 prior to 11:00 a.m. April 15, 2009 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
The Village of Irvington reserves the right to reject any and all bids that are not in the best interest of the Village.
