With the beautiful weather upon us, we expect the Village’s parks to get heavily used during this time, especially Scenic Hudson Park. The Irvington Police Department will have a presence in Scenic Hudson Park to help everyone enjoy the park safely. Here are a few reminders about the rules that are in effect at Scenic Hudson Park for everyone’s safety:
- Face coverings are mandatory for all park visitors over the age of two.
- Dogs, bicycles, scooters are prohibited.
- Athletic fields, playgrounds and basketball courts are closed.
- No smoking.
- Follow the arrows to walk the pathways in the same direction.
- No bathrooms are available.
- Park hours are 7 a.m. to dusk. The park will be closed after dusk.
- Access may be limited during the day if occupancy reaches capacity.
- While there are garbage and recycling receptacles, we ask that you carry your trash home to help lighten the burden on our parks workers.
We appreciate your cooperation during this difficult time, but we hope these rules will allow for a safe and enjoyable visit to Scenic Hudson Park.
