When: Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Where: Scenic Hudson Park
Join Riverkeeper for a cleanup of Irvington’s Scenic Hudson Park & Matthiessen Park on Saturday, May 7, 2016 for the 5th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River.
Volunteers should park and meet at Scenic Hudson Park, located across the MetroNorth tracks at the end of River Road; the cleanup will extend north to Matthiessen Park. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle and snacks. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.
