Friends,
It is that time of year again!
We will once again be preparing Thanksgiving meals for Senior Citizens and Families in our community who can use some help during the holiday season.
We are looking for individuals or families interested in making a home delivery on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 26th.
We expect that we will have between 30 to 45 locations this year. Each delivery includes a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Many of the locations are homes of senior citizens and some are Irvington families in need.
Funds to cover the expenses for this project comes from donations. The Irvington FACE Committee also provides financial assistance for this important project. If you would like to make a financial donation to the cause please let us know. Checks can be made payable to the Village of Irvington. Donations can be sent to the Irvington Recreation and Parks Department, 71 Main St, Irvington NY 10533
Those who deliver would be asked to pick up their meals at the Senior Center in Scenic Hudson Park approximately 11:45am on Thanksgiving Morning. Timing is important since each meal includes a hot dinner for 1 to 8 people. Once you have your meal you than simply will go to the location assigned to you and make the delivery. It will take no more than 1 hour of your time.
If you have questions or need more information on the day please contact us.
If you would like to sign up to make a delivery on Thanksgiving Day please contact Laura Coapman at 591-7736 or email her at lcoapman@irvingtonny.gov.

Questions can be sent to jarchino@irvingtonny.gov or lcoapman@irvingtonny.gov or by calling 591-7736. Joe can also be reached on his cell phone at 914-760-8657
