First Half Taxes Due (without penalty) by Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village tax roll and warrant for the 2015/16 fiscal year has been delivered to the Village Clerk-Treasurer for the collection of taxes levied on such roll. The first half installment of such taxes will be collected at the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer in Village Hall, 85 Main Street, Irvington, NY 10533 from June 1, 2015 to July 1, 2015 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. excepting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. All amounts paid after July 1, 2015 will be subject to interest as set forth in New York State Real Property Tax Law Section 1432. The second half installment of such taxes will be collected at the same location between December 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015 in the same manner.
Please note that first installment payments postmarked Thursday, July 2, 2015 and later, or made in person on July 2 and later at Village Hall will be assessed a penalty. Bear in mind only a bona fide U.S.P.S. postmark evidences timeliness.
