Enjoy a day of family-friendly activities, to “Celebrate Irvington” a small, walkable nationally recognized historic village on the Hudson River. Relaxing by the river, hiking The Old Croton Aqueduct State Park trail, or riding the trolley - this celebration day is a great choice for Father’s Day fun! Walk to all activities. Rain or shine.

Old-fashioned, free, jump-on, jump-off trolley tours sponsored by Sunnyside Federal Saving and Loan highlights Irvington’s history including the Historic Main Street District, village founders and landmark sites. Guided walks in town, on the waterfront and on The Old Croton Aqueduct National Historic Park. Local docents describe the past and present life in this small rivertown community known for its magnificent Main Street views of the Hudson. Tours of the (Louis Comfort) Tiffany Reading Room in the landmark 1902 Village Hall. Visit historic 1853 McVickar House for birthday cake to celebrate 10th anniversary as home to the Irvington Historical Society, and take photos in period costumes. See Irvington Unfolds: A Village History in Maps exhibit. Fresh & prepared foods at the Irvington Farmers Market, open shops on Main Street, music, waterfront parks with views of the Palisades. Choose casual or up-scale restaurants or take-out for outdoor picnics.
