Irvington Historical Society presents “Hudson River Journey” with Captain John Lipscomb who shares his experiences and scientific discoveries while traveling 5,000 nautical miles along the Hudson from the New York Harbor to Troy aboard the Riverkeeper's 36-foot wooden R. Ian Fletcher.
Lipscomb grew up in Irvington and Tarrytown and completed three Transatlantic Crossings. His research and findings are key to the river’s health, sustainability and future.
