BUZZ is Building for Bee 9!
Get in on a popular annual Village event that supports the Irvington Public Library - the 9th Annual Community-Wide Spelling Bee! Emceed by Jon Scott of Fox News and judged by local "dignitaries", the Bee also includes live music, entertainment and refreshments.
Become part of the action by forming a team of three to compete for the fun of it, a silver trophy and bragging rights. Teams can represent neighborhoods, families, friends, schools, churches, organizations, employers, commuters, book groups, clubs, or just themselves. Watch the excitement unfold and cheer on contestants by purchasing a ticket. The event usually sells out so order tickets on-line in advance to get discount price of $10 at www.irvingtontheater.com; $13 at the door. The Spelling Bee will take place on Friday, January 30, 2015, 7:00 p.m. Town Hall Theater, 85 Main Street. Snow date Saturday, January 31, 2015.
