As important pollinators of plants, bees are crucial to protecting and improving the environment. The Village of Irvington welcomes and encourages its residents to keep bees. To help ensure that bees are kept safely, the Village established a set of regulations as part of Chapter 83 of the Village Code.
The Beekeeping regulations require residents to register annually on a form provided by the Village Clerk. There is no charge to register, but notification of abutting property owners is required.
