Archforkids-Adventures in Architecture- Thursdays 3:30-4:30 
Grades 1-3
8 Weeks beginning March 8th 
Fees-Resident: $225 School District: $235 Non-Resident: $250
Calling all young designers! Join us for a fantastic series of engaging STEAM related projects, ranging from model castles to playground design. Adventures in Architecture is designed to sharpen critical thinking skills, spur creativity - and be loads of fun. 

Archforkids-Design & Build - Architect’s StudiO- Thursdays 4:45-5:45
Grades 4-5
8 weeks begininng March 8th 
Fees-Resident: $225 School District: $235 Non-Resident: $250
Explore the worlds of architecture, engineering and design with hands-on, minds-on building projects, from tabletop greenhouses to model bridges. Participants will learn to use the tools and strategies of architects and engineers – all while having a great time. 

Curious-on-Hudson-OUTDOOR EDUCATION AND SKILLS CLASS- Saturdays 9:00-11:00AM 
Grades 4-6
10 weeks beginning March 10th  
Fees-Resident: $255 School District: $265 Non-Resident: $275
This class is designed to develop an appreciation for earth as a whole as well as specific skills required to enjoy and benefit from the outdoors. Camping and Cooking,Survival skills, Tree identification, Wildlife tracking, Knife safety and use, Outdoor crafts such as primitive tool making (axe, spear, fishing poleTree and plant identification and observation,Shelter construction, How to detect natural signs for time, direction and weather,  Local geography, & Local history.  This class will be spent outdoors. Please prepare to be outdoors for each class. 

Curious-on-Hudson-Young Novelists- Mondays 4:00-5:00
Grades 4-6
10 weeks beginning March 5th
Fees-Resident: $250 School District: $255 Non-Resident: $270
The Young Novelists class allows writers to leap beyond the usual “kid’s short story.” In this class,we will build upon student ideas using brainstorming, story mapping, visuals, character arcs, and subplot development. All story outlining is done during class and the option to write at home is always encouraged but never required. This class can be sequenced to to additional levels to allow serious writers to continually hone and share their skills.

Grafting Workshop-Saturday APril 14th 1:00-3:00PM
Ages 17 & UP
Free for all participants-PRE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
CJ Reilly III, a former U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer Nepal (2013 - 2015) and researcher at Columbia University, will be leading a hands-on grafting workshop on (date and time pending). Participants will learn how to graft heirloom apple varieties, as well as explore best practice nursery and grafting management for fruit and nut trees.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have a baseline understanding as to how one can apply such horticulture skills to food security, preservation, and diversification of our ecosystem.   The workshop is open to first-time gardeners and to seasoned grafters. All are welcome
